Paul Taylor is in his last year of high school, watching along with everyone else in the world as the megacorporation known as Star Force leads the nations of Earth into space. Wanting to be a part of the adventure but not qualifying for any of their highly competitive jobs, his chance of joining looks to be nil until one day a new Star Force recruitment package opens up.
The A7 program, listed only as 'Looking for the Best of the Best,’ has but a single prequalification...a sub 500 mile that Paul's track team skills qualify him for.
Figuring he has nothing to lose, Paul takes the Star Force tests expecting to fail, but soon finds himself accepted and whisked away to their headquarters where he learns the truth about the space corporation…and the secret alien threat that it's been created to prepare Earth for.
Mind blown, he and the other A7 candidates are then told that they’re not here to help, but to LEAD the hopeless war on the horizon, where victory does not lie in defeating an ancient enemy, but in simply finding a way to survive it.
An ancient enemy mistakenly known as…
The Dinosaurs.

Star Force Inception SF1 eBook Aerki Jyr Reviews
This series is great for anyone interested in Space Sci-Fi. Each book is a bit on the short side, but they are priced well and the count is currently over 60 at the time of this review. I find myself disappointed when I finish one, since I read them so quickly I have to wait for more content. I can't get enough!
I have read all of the episodes to date (76 so far), and while it's not the best series I've ever read, it's pretty close. I've been reading fantasy and sci-fi for over 3 decades now, and I have a science background so I understand the underlying concepts being brought forth. Yes, you must suspend disbelief in this series. I have no issue with expanding my imagination to accommodate those alternative laws of science. Before you begin complaining about grammar and length, remember that each one is self-published with only 2 weeks to write and edit it. Before you complain about price, know that Unlimited forces a $2.99 price floor and that they used to be $1 per episode before he moved to for the much larger audience. The plot is solid and moves along in every episode. The characters are developed well, and the suspense level is kept high while always giving you the minor ending you're looking for every couple of episodes. Kudos Aer-ki!
This was really short and only got interesting just before the end. I might look at the next book in the series.
This book was good, I really enjoyed it and would like to read more, but at $3 per book, with 50 books listed in the series, I wouldn't be able to afford to buy them all, and I really don't want to start into the series, catch the Star Force bug and only be able to read a few books, then have to give up, because of the cost, before I get to find out what happens at the end.
These books are too expensive for their length. If we could buy them in blocks of 5 books for one (sensible) price, then I'd be willing to continue reading the series, but as it stands, the series is just too expensive to read.
The story line is very captivating, but way to short! I didn't look at the page length before buying it and now I'm conflicted. Do I buy more short stories in this series or just look elsewhere for a novel to read. $3 for a story that only has 10 chapters is just too expensive for me. For those that want to pay the price, get it! You will enjoy it. I only gave it 3 stars based on the price to length. If it was an actual novel I would give it 5 stars.
BUY THIS SERIES AS AN AMAZON PRIME MEMBER. BORROW THE BOOKS. IT MAKES READING THE SERIES THAT MUCH BETTER. I have read this series from 1 to 99. My enthusiasm has hit peaks and valleys as I slogged thru the meandering plot line. I work for a living and read a lot of SCI FI. I read what said about a 100 book series and expected a "classic" story arc divided into 25 book segments. At about the 66th book purchase point I became convinced that this Author had more in mind. This is the first 100 book series to address the ORGIN of Star Force. I expect additional 50 to 100 book blocks to address the classic writers story arc of STAR FORCE. I do not do a lot of background checks on authors or check Facebook pages but after 99 books where I bought up to #87 I started to see if there was any evidence to support my theory. I found nothing concrete but references in comments on reviews that said the author intended to write more than 100. There has to be more than 100 books to tie up all the foreshadowing and plot lines. Become a Prime member and enjoy the series even more!
Star Force Inception is a good idea. You find something at the South Pole, that shouldn't be there, and it leads down an interesting path.
However, it's only 1,184 locations long. That's it. I picked it up for free, but it looks like this is now $2.99. I see that the author wants to go the serial route, which is fine, but there is no way that this is worth $2.99. Considering how much is out there for free, I would suggest abandoning the serial idea, and put out a compilation, if the author wants $2.99.
Good idea, but too little value for the cost.
Edit - compare this to Empire (In Her Name Redemption, Book 1) Empire is five times as long, introduces an amazing alien race, has amazing writing and is free. This is why price matters.
Interesting take on origin theory. Looking forward to reading more in this series. Pure golden age of sci-fi feel. Worth a look.
